Misa en Español

Misa en Español Grace Church offers The Holy Eucharist in Spanish the first Saturday of every month at 5 p.m.  This simple Mass will open our doors to those whose first language is Spanish.

Children's Mass

Children's Mass Sign Beginning Sunday, September 17, Grace Church will be offering a Children's Mass. Designed for children 6 years of age and younger, the Children’s Mass at Grace Church is a hands-on, interactive service with plenty of singing and physical movement. An animated picture Bible is used to teach the Christian story in a relatable and age appropriate manner.  For Holy Communion, the children gather around a small table and assist the priest and participate in the prayers. This is an ideal service for families who would like to experience Christian community and attend Mass, but find it difficult to attend with younger children. The entire Mass is about 25 minutes long in duration.

On June 11, 2017, Bill and Mickey Hafemann were honored by the Diocese of Newark as the Grace Church recipients of the 2017 David P. Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Award.  The award is given to senior members who have made major contributions to their parishes over an extended period of time.

Bill and Mickey have attended Grace Church faithfully since 1953.  Bill has served a number of terms on the vestry, including a few terms as warden. He was a member of the Men's Club, Usher Guild, served on more than one Search Committee, and helped maintain the church property.   Mickey also served on the vestry numerous times.  She was a member St. Martha's Guild, taught Sunday School for nearly 17 years, worked with the Children's Choir, and also served on a number of Search Committees.  Together, they have been members of the Couples Club, helped maintain and restore the rectory, and served for many years at the Street Fair and Antique Show.

We thank Bill and Mickey for all of their devotion and service to Grace Church and congratulate them on this well deserved award.
